As of March, 2024, there are currently 81,294 missing in action men and women dating back from WWII to present.
But how do you truly understand the weight of that number?
The Missing In Action Remembered gallery, located in Bakersfield, California, will display a military dog tag for each of these missing soldiers.
Upon completion, the walk-through experience will allow visitors to surround themselves with these brave men and women, and feel the spirit of these soldiers who are still waiting to come home.
The gallery is estimated to open soon.

GALLERY PROGRESS
We are currently under construction in the Portrait of a Warrior Gallery at 1925 Eye St., Bakersfield, CA 93301.
The building of the Memorial has been slow, with delays due to COVID-19, but we have contractors committed to finishing this project. We are currently installing the custom rack system which will hold to dog tags.
